Frank Parlier

I have been turning wood and building fine furniture since I graduated high school in 1951. I had the good fortune to be taught by an Industrial Arts teacher who could do almost anything - a true Master. I have had a student/apprentice since 2005 who has progressed to the point that he is now my assistant. He even designs his own wood turnings and furniture. On my website, you can learn the classic method of bowl turning through pictures and written dialogue. You can also learn to build a Shaker Sewing Table with a turned pedestal and small cabriole-style legs. I will be adding new lessons as time permits.
